Golf & Gala on Oct. 2 will help IFMA Foundation raise funds to educate future FMs

Help the IFMA Foundation support the education of future FMs by playing golf at the 30th Annual Doug Underwood/Utilities Council Golf Tournament and by attending the Denim and Diamonds Gala.

The golf tournament, a best ball scramble format intended for players of all levels, is held each year on the Tuesday preceding World Workplace. This year the tournament will be held in the Charlotte area at Rocky River Golf Club on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018. It will raise $10,000 in scholarships to be awarded at World Workplace.

Proceeds of the tournament are used to fund scholarships awarded through the IFMA foundation to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Facilities Management. Proceeds are also used to pay the student’s expenses to attend IFMA’s World Workplace to receive the scholarship. By attending World Workplace, the student also benefits from meeting practicing facility managers and facility business partners to learn about current issues that relate to the profession.

That night, the Scholarship Presentations will take place at 7 p.m. prior to the Denim & Diamond Gala, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Both will be held at the Westin Grand Ballroom A/B on 2nd floor.

Full event plus registration or $125 for separate tickets. The academic awards ceremony which includes the FM scholarship presentations begins promptly at 7 p.m. and you don’t want to miss it. Enjoy a wine toss, great food, networking, silent auction and meet the fabulous FM students receiving scholarships. All proceeds benefit making FM a career of choice. Register here to attend!
