Behr announces 2026 Commercial Color Forecast with 50 forward-looking hues

Hallway

June 15, 2025 — Behr Paint Company has just announced its 2026 Commercial Forecast, a curated collection of colors rooted in elemental harmony — a thoughtful approach to color that balances natural elements, nostalgic touches and technology influences. Designers and industry professionals enjoyed a first look at the 2026 Commercial Color Forecast last week at NeoCon in Chicago.

We see an increased desire for environments that honor traditional color sensibilities while embracing contemporary digital aesthetics. The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast is a collection for commercial interiors that feels authentic, balanced and connected to both our heritage and future.

Erika Woelfel, Vice President of Color & Creative Services, Behr Paint Company

The 2026 Commercial Color Forecast consists of five subpalettes that can be used interchangeably in a range of diverse commercial settings such as workplaces, healthcare facilities, retail spaces, hospitality venues and more.

  • EVOLVEDNeutrals: Designed to be a foundational element, these dynamic neutrals range from “pure” to “toned” to anchor spaces that exude balance and harmony.
  • SOULScape: Inspired by the Mediterranean, these soulful and moody hues create an inviting space with a warm, coastal feel.
  • MYSTICWave: Drawing off the tranquil nature of aquatic hues, these colors promote well-being and comfort within a space.
  • METROChic: A selection of colors that combine Parisian charm with New York City’s energy that can add both classic elegance and a refined, modern flair to interiors.
  • FUSIONDream: Featuring a blend of frosted pastels and edgy bright tones, these hues create a balanced yet visually striking aesthetic.
