NuPark, the leading provider of smart parking management solutions, has been awarded a contract to provide automated parking management and enforcement for Auburn University.

By using NuPark’s cloud-based Parking Management System, Auburn University will now be able to more efficiently optimize all aspects of its parking operations to provide students, faculty, staff, and campus guests faster, more convenient parking services across campus.

NuPark’s open, web-based smart parking management system will help Auburn University streamline and automate the process of managing, selling, and enforcing parking. The hosted system provides everything needed for parking management including license plate recognition (LPR) technology, real-time data access and syncing, electronic permitting, payments, citations, and appeals. It supports the university’s goals of becoming a more sustainable campus and providing better customer service.

Key reasons why Auburn University chose NuPark include its unique license plate recognition (LPR) technology, real-time access to parking data, and seamless integration into other systems.  New capabilities include:

  • Smart Parking Enforcement
NuPark will allow Auburn to more efficiently manage its enforcement process from permit verification to citation reconciliation in real-time. Its LPR technology can quickly verify parking permissions.
  • Streamlines Parking Appeal Process
NuPark’s Appeal Management module will now allow Auburn the ability to appeal citations in real-time. Auburn plans to utilize its customer portal to allow customers to appeal citations from anywhere at anytime.
  • Seamless integration with third party parking systems
NuPark allows Auburn to seamlessly integrate with other information and parking management systems including enterprise accounting software to provide a more comprehensive real-time solution for parking operations.

Auburn is bringing state-of-the-art, advanced technologies to our parking efforts to help achieve success around our three pillars: efficiency, customer service, and sustainability,” said Don Andrae, Manager of Parking Services for Auburn University. “NuPark will be a key component to assisting Auburn in transitioning to a smart, sustainable parking program across our campus.” Auburn University is currently in the process of implementing NuPark’s Waitlist and Events module added to their system abilities.
