Ware Malcomb promotes Ted Heisler to VP, Interior Architecture & Design

TedHeislerEmail editedWare Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced that Ted Heisler has been promoted to Vice President, Interior Architecture and Design. In this role, Heisler maintains responsibility for the overall growth of Ware Malcomb’s interior architecture and design practice across the firm’s 22 offices. A member of Ware Malcomb’s Executive Team, Heisler is responsible for national business development and leads the firm’s corporate accounts program. He also oversees Ware Malcomb’s national Interiors Advisory Group.

Heisler joined Ware Malcomb in 1994, most recently serving as Principal, Interior Architecture and Design. In this company-wide role leading national business development for the firm’s interiors practice, he has contributed to the significant growth and expansion of interiors services and has helped build the firm’s reputation as an industry leader, evidenced by Ware Malcomb ranking No. 36 in Interior Design magazine’s national Giants 2017 list. In addition, Heisler helps to lead and launch projects for the firm’s national clients as well as assisting them with overall project strategy. With over 30 years of experience in all facets of interior architecture and design, Heisler has worked on a variety of corporate office, commercial, retail and industrial projects.  

 

Heisler attended the University of California, Irvine where he studied Environmental Design. He is a Certified Interior Designer (CID), has passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam, and is a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). He is also an active member of CoreNet Global, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Chapter. 

 

Heisler has been a speaker at numerous national industry conferences and has authored several articles for publication. Considered a Thought Leader in Workplace Strategy, he has been a frequent speaker for Corenet Global, a global organization for corporate real estate executives. In 2015, he was a speaker for CoreNet Global Summit North America in Los Angeles. In 2011, he was a speaker at both the CoreNet Global Paris Summit and CoreNet Global Chicago Summit. Heisler also presented at the 2014 NAIOP Development Conference on Ware Malcomb’s award-winning Interior Design/Build-Out of the Future design concept, created by Ware Malcomb’s Interior design studio.
