J+J Flooring Group, a leading diversified manufacturer of commercial specified flooring, announced that Ginger Gilbert has been promoted to Vice President – Design & Development. Gilbert most recently served as Director of Product Design.
In addition to overseeing J+J’s Product Design Studio, Gilbert’s new responsibilities include overseeing the company’s Market (custom) Development operations. She is now responsible for all standard and custom product design and development, product fulfillment and sampling, and overall product management and performance. She reports to J+J Flooring Group President, David Jolly.
“Ginger brings a rare combination of forward-thinking design and technical knowledge, combined with exceptional leadership skills, to this highly critical position,” said Jolly. “Product is the life-blood of any manufacturing enterprise, and J+J is extremely fortunate to have someone as talented as Ginger leading our Product Team. Gilbert joined J+J in 2013 where she served in marketing leadership roles before transitioning to Product Design.
Prior to joining J+J, Gilbert served in key leadership and design roles with several leading floor covering manufacturers. Gilbert also spent a decade with architectural firms as an interior designer, including Taylor + Associates and FKP Inc.
