NFMT cancels August conference; Las Vegas, Oct. 27-28, is on track

The National Facilities Management and Technology Conference and Expo — NFMT 2020, scheduled to take place August 11-13 at the Baltimore Convention Center, has been cancelled.

On March 11, NFMT communicated that the show was rescheduled for August 11-13. Since then, the NFMT team has worked diligently with the state of Maryland, the city of Baltimore, and the Baltimore Convention Center to host a safe and secure event that incorporated stringent cleaning, disinfection, and social distancing protocols.

However, the Baltimore Convention Center has informed NFMT that due to the state of Maryland’s timeline for the State of Emergency and restriction on events, they will be unable to host NFMT in August. As a result, this year’s event has been cancelled. The next East Coast show will be NFMT 2021, March 23-25 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

NFMT has other opportunities for FMs to continue to learn, grow and become better facilities professionals. These include NFMT Vegas, October 27 and 28 at the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, its new fnPrime membership program, and additional webcasts and online events.
