Keith Major honored with BOMA International Chair’s Award

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International’s 2015-2016 Chair and Chief Elected Officer Kent C. Gibson, BOMA Fellow, recognized Keith Major with the prestigious Chair’s Award during the 2016 BOMA International Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., in late June. The Chair’s Award is the highest recognition presented by the BOMA International Chair and is bestowed annually upon an individual or individuals who set new standards of excellence for the commercial real estate industry through innovation, talent and dedication.

“I am pleased to present the Chair’s Award to Keith Major in recognition of his outstanding leadership and dedication to the industry,” commented Gibson, president of Capstone Property Management, L.C. “Keith’s wise counsel as a member of the Executive Committee has enhanced BOMA’s programs and initiatives around the world, and his vision and diplomacy have further strengthened the relationship between BOMA International and BOMA Canada.”

Keith Major is executive vice president of Property Management with Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP in Toronto. In his role, Major is responsible for the property management, operations and development activities undertaken by the company in the Canadian province of Ontario. He served on the BOMA International Executive Committee for four years, and he currently serves as vice chair of the International Council. Major also served as chair of the Energy and Environment Committee for BOMA/Toronto, and he currently represents BOMA as the consumer representative on the Smart Grid Forum for Ontario.
